Andy Reid loves his Kansas City BBQ, and he made sure Dolphins coach Brian Flores got a taste last season. After Brian Flores’s Miami Dolphins upset the New England patriots in 2019, the Chiefs were gifted a better seed in the first round of the playoffs. Reid showed his appreciation with Flores for helping his squad out.

What a great gesture by Andy Reid. His team obviously went on to win the Super Bowl that season. Who knows? Maybe if the Dolphins don’t beat the Patriots, things shake out differently.

Things went south for New England after losing to the Dolphins that year. They didn’t get a bye, and therefore had to play a tough Titans team, and ended up getting beat.

A year later, the Patriots are a completely different team, and the Dolphins seem to be getting better and better each week. The Dolphins are currently 8-4, one game back of the Buffalo Bills in the AFC East. The Patriots are at 6-6 in that same division.

I’m not sure many people expected the rebuild in Miami to be this short. That’s a credit to Brian Flores and the Dolphins player development. There’s a lot to be excited about if you’re a Miami Dolphins fan.

The Dolphins will take on the new-look Patriots this Sunday.
