The power couple of A-Rod and J-Lo was one for the ages. The athlete with the pop singer, both super famous and super wealthy. The very definition of A-List. They truly were a true power couple. A-Rod and J-Lo recently broke off their engagement, and immediately following their split, Jennifer Lopez was spotted back with her old flame Ben Affleck.

So how is A-Rod feeling about their relationship?

“I had five years of an incredible life and partnership and also with my daughters, we learned so much,” he told Entertainment Tonight.

Rodriguez didn’t address the breakup specifically to ET, instead looking at the relationship holistically and reflecting:

“Now we have the opportunity to take that and move forward and say, ‘You know what? We’re so grateful for the last five years, how do we make the next five years better because of lessons learned?'”

He continued:

“So I’m in a great place. I’m so grateful for where God and the light has really put me, and I’m really looking forward. Mostly to see how my girls keep developing,”

Earlier this week, J-Lo scrubbed her ex from her ‘gram.

Meanwhile A-Rod still has plenty of pics of J-Lo up on his TL and still follows her.
