Aldon Smith Arrested For Felony Charge of DUI Causing Injury

NFL Free agent Aldon Smith is once again in the news for all the wrong reasons. The once dominant pass rusher was arrested this week on a felony charge of DUI causing injury.

Smith has had a checkered history since he entered the NFL. Aldon has had multiple arrests and a few DUI’s.

Via TMZ Sports:

“Aldon Smith is in trouble with the law once again … TMZ Sports has learned the NFL star was arrested on Monday and booked on a felony charge of DUI causing injury.

Details surrounding the arrest are unclear — we’re working on it — but records show Smith was booked into a Northern California jail at 7:38 PM on Monday night.”

Smith played last season with the Cowboys and it appeared he was back to his old self on the field. If the offseason Smith signed with the Seahawks but was cut prior to the start of the regular season following an alleged battery incident.

If Smith’s track record made GM’s wary, this is most likely the last straw.

Probably spells the end for him in the NFL. Hopefully he gets some serious help, cause he truly needs it.
