Alabama Coach Nate Oats Had Some Choice Words For LSU After Winning SEC Tournament

As if the consistent dominance wasn’t enough for Alabama, their basketball team under Nate Oats is looking pretty damn good, as well.

After a highly successful regular season, the Crimson Tide were the #1 seed for the SEC Tournament. They Tide had their hands full against an LSU game in the tournament championship. The fierce rivalry game ended with Bama winning 80-79.

When Nate Oats was celebrating the win, it certainly looks like he said, “get the f**k out of here” to Will Wade and the LSU bench.

This reaction from Oats shouldn’t come as that much of a surprise. The LSU-Alabama rivalry has gotten heated this year, and the two teams had to be separated at mid-court prior to the game.

Nate Oats spoke on the confrontation after the game.

“It definitely motivated us and gave us the extra push,” Nate Oats said after the game.

Let’s hope we see an LSU-Alabama matchup on the NCAA tournament. Heated rivalries are fun to watch, and we need more of them in sports.
