Adam Schefter Called an ‘A–Hole’ Over His Tua Tagovailoa Pronunciation

When a loose-lipped Chiefs employee told a liquor store employee about the Patrick Mahomes deal, she tweeted it before Adam Schefter could.

The job of an NFL reporter isn’t an easy one. Not only do you have to constantly be breaking stories, you also must make sure to not offend anyone while doing so. This means you must correctly pronounce the names of the athletes you cover. Now while some are very pedestrian, other names can be much more difficult. Just ask ESPN’s #1 reporter Adam Schefter, who has learned that his pronunciation of Tua Tagovailoa is not correct.

Schefty shared the letter he received, with a fan even going as far as to call him an A-hole.
