Adam Morrison Was On The Radio Call For The Jalen Suggs Game-Winner And Absolutely Nailed It

10 December 2005: Gonzaga Bullsdogs forward #3 Adam Morrison takes a breather during the third annual battle in Seattle held at Key Arena in Seattle, WA.

As fans, we were gifted with one of the best sporting events in recent memory with the Final Four game between Gonzaga and UCLA. The Bruins, who were heavy underdogs in the game, played their tails off. The game was sent to OT, and looked like it was headed for a double-OT with the clock winding down.

That’s when Gonzaga guard Jalen Suggs took matters into his own hands. Suggs took the inbound pass, and was forced to send up a half-court heave with time expiring. Suggs banked it home, and the celebration was on.

Jalen Suggs’ shot had fans losing their minds. Of those was former Gonzaga star Adam Morrison, whose team suffered a heartbreaking loss to UCLA in the NCAA Tournament 15 years ago. He happened to be calling the game for Gonzaga radio during this iconic moment. His reaction definitely did not disappoint.

Once the shot goes in you can hear Adam Morrison continuously yelling “YES!”.

Morrison and the zags will hope to keep the party going when they face off against Baylor in the National Championship tonight. It’s hard to imagine we can get a better game than Gonzaga-UCLA, but it should be fun regardless.
