Aaron Rodgers and Antonio Brown’s vaccination statuses have been big storylines over the past few weeks.

Prior to the season, Rodgers said he was “immunized”, which turned out to be a lie when he was outed for being unvaccinated after catching the virus recently.

And earlier today, it was announced that Antonio Brown would be suspended after it was determined that he used a fake vaccine card to get out of protocols.

So some people were asking: why does Aaron Rodgers get to play after lying about the vaccine but Antonio Brown get suspended??

Well, the simple answer is that Aaron Rodgers might have lied to the public. But Antonio Brown took it a step further – actually using a fake vaccine card when trying to get out of NFL protocols. The league always knew Aaron was unvaccinated.

But I understand the outrage to a certain extent. Rodgers has been seen out at team parties, on the sidelines without a mask, and doing other things that go against the NFL’s rules for unvaccinated players.

Antonio Brown undoubtedly deserved a harsher penalty for his actions. But perhaps Aaron Rodgers shouldn’t have been let off with a little slap on the wrist.
