All we heard all offseason was that Aaron Rodgers was done with the Green Bay Packers.
Report after report indicated that Rodgers’ rift with the Packers front office was at the point of no return, and he was so fed up that it was either he was going to be traded, or he would retire.

Today, Rich Eisen asked Aaron Rodgers point blank if he ever really felt that he wasn’t going to be going back to Green Bay under any circumstance.
While Rodgers admitted to being frustrated, he also said that he had never “closed the door” on a potential return to Green Bay.
I lost count of the number of times I heard on Draft Day and throughout the spring that @AaronRodgers12 was done with @packers and never to return.
So on today’s @RichEisenShow I asked him point blank if ever really felt that way. pic.twitter.com/w1VeX9DISq

When Aaron Rodgers showed up to Packers Training Camp, he was open about how he wanted the dynamic between him and the front office to change. And he was hoping he could influence roster decisions a little more going forward.
He remained adamant that the rift isn’t necessarily about the team’s decision to draft quarterback Jordan Love last year.
In his first game of 2021, Aaron Rodgers turned in a dud against the Saints. But with the Lions matchup coming up shortly, Rodgers will have a prime opportunity to bounce back and quiet his critics.
