Welcome to the NFL, Tua Tagovailoa. Here’s Aaron Donald for you to deal with.

Tua was mic’d up for last Sunday’s game against the Rams. Here he was taking a hit from Aaron Donald.

Apparently, Tua was unhappy that Aaron Donald didn’t want to talk to him after the play. Here he was talking to teammates on the sidelines about Donald’s unfriendly behavior.

“Man, Aaron Donald, he don’t talk,” Tagovailoa said. “I tried to say what’s up. He don’t like me.”

Yeah, Aaron Donald isn’t out there to make friends, Tua. I guess the rookie had to learn that the hard way. All in all, it was an up and down debut for Tua. He ended the game 12-22 with 93 yards and a TD. Nothing that jumps off the page for Tua, but he was able to do the most important thing. Win.

Against a tough Rams defense, Tua’s statline was never going to be pretty. He was able to limit the turnovers, and let his Dolphins team take care of business on the defensive side of the ball. The Dolphins are now 1-0 with Tua as their starter. On the year, Miami is a surprising 4-3, and in second place in the AFC East.

It’ll be interesting to see what the future holds for Tua and the Dolphins. Are they contenders or pretenders? We’ll find out soon.
