70 Current/Former Employees Accuse Suns Owner Robert Sarver of Racism, Misogyny

Former Sun and popular social media personality, Rex Chapman, was trashed for his take on owner Robert Sarver after the allegations hit the web

The Suns released a statement regarding a potential media investigation into the workplace culture of the franchise, denying that the organization or Sarver has a history of racism or sexism. The statement sent Friday, Oct. 22, 2021, said the organization is aware that ESPN is working on a story accusing the organization of misconduct on a “variety of topics.” The Suns responded by saying they were “completely baseless claims” and “documentary evidence in our possession and eyewitness accounts directly contradict the reporter’s accusations, and we are preparing our response to his questions.” (AP Photo/Ross D. Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver is in a bit hot water after the latest report detailing his racist and misogynic behavior.

The Phoenix Suns organization and owner Robert Sarver are accused of racism and misogyny in interviews with over 70 current and former employees.

“The level of misogyny and racism is beyond the pale,” one Suns co-owner said about Sarver. “It’s embarrassing as an owner.”

A former Suns basketball executive:

“There’s literally nothing you could tell me about him from a misogynistic or race standpoint that would surprise me.”

“I don’t like diversity,” Suns owner Robert Sarver allegedly said.

We know what happened to former Clippers owner Donald Sterling when his racist behavior was revealed.

Hard to argue with 70 people all claiming the same thing.
