St. Louis Blues goalie Jordan Binnington found himself on the wrong end of a collision with Avalanche forward Nazem Kadri on Saturday night — and it very well may have eded his season.

With Kadri going hard to the net, it appeared that he got tangled up with a Blues player before going hard into Binngton’s legs.

It was later revealed that Jordan Binnington has a knee injury, and will likely be out for a few weeks.

Given his history of questionable plays, Nazem Kadri was called out by Blues fans, and after the game, he was speaking on the unfortunate collision with Jordan Binnington.

While speaking on the play with the TNT crew, Kadri revealed that someone chucked a water bottle at him mid-interview, and he believed it was Binnington, himself.

Later in the night, it was reported that Jordan Binnington had, in fact, been the one who took out his frustration with Nazem Kadri by trying to strike him with the water.

Jordan Binnington has a right to be frustrated. After all, he was the Blues’ best player for the first two games of the series, and probably their best chance of pulling off the unlikely upset against the Avs.

However, this particular Nazem Kadri play doesn’t seem to be too malicious or dirty. He’s just going strong to the front of the net, and something unfortunate occurred.

Now, the Blues will turn to Ville Husso for the rest of the series after going down 2-1 on Saturday night. And without Jordan Binnington, it would seem highly unlikely that they can still squeak past the current Stanley Cup favorites.
