Edmonton Oilers’ forward Evander Kane is back trending this weekend after his vicious cross-check to Colorado Avalanche’s forward Nazem Kadri in Game 3 of the Western Conference Final.

Kane was given a 5-minute penalty for the hit but many are hoping he will be suspended because of his run of dirty plays.

People were not happy and had plenty to say online about it.

Evander Kane’s ex-wife, Anna Kane, even posted how she was feeling after the Avalnche victory over Kane’s Oilers.

Nazem Kadri was injured on the play and has already been ruled out for the rest of the series. The Avalanche are hoping that they will only need one more game to finish off the Oilers and then might get some time off before the Stanley Cup Finals.

While Avalanche fans were happy to take a 3-0 lead in the series, many are still looking for some action to come against Kane so he doesn’t just go out looking to injure people in the next game.

Game 4 takes place on Monday, June 6th, at 8 p.m. EST.
