Why Tom Brady Didn’t Thank the Patriots in his Goodbye Letter Revealed

According to a report, Tom Brady is eyeing ownership stake in one NFL team after announcing his retirement following 22 legendary seasons in the league

Tom Brady had a short retirement.

And when he announced he was done, he did all the typical goodbye stuff. But there’s a lot of mystery still surrounding his entire retirement from start to finish. Of course it’s still being talked about. Now we’re learning why Tom strangely didn’t thank the Patriots in his retirement letter. Boston Globe reporter Ben Volin is saying there’s a perfectly valid reason Tom didn’t mention the Patriots.

“I have always believed the sport of football is an “all-in” proposition – if a 100% competitive commitment isn’t there, you won’t succeed, and success is what I love so much about our game,” Tom Brady wrote as part of his post. “There is a physical, mental, and emotional challenge EVERY single day that has allowed me to maximize my highest potential. And I have tried my very best these past 22 years. There are no shortcuts to success on the field or in life. This is difficult for me to write, but here it goes: I am not going to make that competitive commitment anymore. I have loved my NFL career, and now it is time to focus my time and energy on other things that require my attention.”

That’s because he never really planned on retiring.

Brady’s plan was to continue playing according to the reporter. Which means as a member of the Dolphins, he was going to have to play the Patriots twice a year.

It was recently revealed Tom had every intention of playing for the Dolphins, but Brian Flores’ lawsuit got in the way of Tom’s plan.

So tom had to pivot, and we know what happened next. The Bucs weren’t going to let  him play anywhere else at that point, so he made sure to force Arians into early retirement.  It’s Tom’s NFL,  we’re just watching it.
