Video: Footage Shows Marshawn Lynch Crashed Lamborghini Back in February Six months Before DUI

FILE - Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch walks off the field after NFL football practice in Renton, Wash., in this Friday, Dec. 27, 2019, file photo. During Marshawn Lynch’s 12 NFL seasons he earned a reputation for his fearless style on the field, while remaining one of the league’s most reclusive figures off the field. Now the retired running back is lending his voice to try to help members of Black and Hispanic communities make more informed decisions about receiving COVID-19 vaccines. Lynch released a 30-minute interview with Dr. Anthony Fauci on his YouTube channel Friday, April 16, 2021, becoming the latest prominent athlete to sit down with him to discuss the efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines as the U.S. continues to combat the pandemic. Marshawn Lynch is having one hell of a year.

Footage has been released by the 8 News Now I-Team that shows former Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch had crashed his Lambo back in February, which only led to him receiving a parking ticket for the incident.  The former NFL running back was driving on Tropicana Avenue back in February when his Lamborghini Aventador “collided with landscaping and a fence,” police detailed in a report. Footage shows police on the scene trying to determine who was driving the vehicle.

Watch below:

Lynch’s cousin initially took responsibility for the crash at the scene. They claim the man told them he tried to make a U-turn and “lost it.”

In the documents, they said a black van pulled up to the scene to pick somebody up, and when they asked the man about it, they say he told them, “No I came in the van.”

It’s hard to keep your story straight when you’re lying to me,” the officer said to the man.

Court records show Lynch pleaded no contest  to a charge of stopping, standing, or parking prohibited in specified places, which is a misdemeanor. A judge ordered him to pay a $750 fine.

Earlier this month Lynch was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop. Officers said they found Lynch “asleep behind the wheel with the vehicle in an undrivable condition.”

Lynch faces charges of DUI liquor and/or drugs, failure or refusal to surrender proof of insurance, driving an unregistered vehicle, and failure to drive in a travel lane.
