Tyreek Hill needs to clarify a few things he recently said.

The Miami Dolphins receiver stressed he wasn’t disrespecting Patrick Mahomes with a comment comparing his former quarterback to Tua Tagovailoa The man known as cheetah raised plenty of eyebrows when he suggested the Miami QB is more accurate than the Kansas City superstar.

“As far as accuracy wise, I’m going Tua all day,” he said.

The wideout clarified his stance after saying he received death threats over the comparison. Hill kicked off the second episode of his podcast by addressing the fallout—including some truly wild DMs the WR said he received as a result.

“I got death threats. Every social media account I own, I got death threats on…

I just feel like a lot of people overreacted for no reason… They really didn’t see what I said. A lot of people are just acting off emotion.”

Hill went on to clarify the comments:

“We all know Patrick Mahomes is great. We know that. We know that.

But right now, I’m going into a new season with a new quarterback who’s trying to head in the same direction as Patrick and do great things and lead this team to a Super Bowl championship who’s also great, in my opinion.

He just doesn’t have the accolades as of yet. I believe in him.”

Hill has done a lot of talking for not playing a single game without Mahomes. He just put that much more pressure on him and Tua to succeed.

Best of luck with that.
