It’s safe to say San Francisco 49ers fans are all-in on the Trey Lance era.

A couple of months ago, it was revealed by sports books that Lance saw his MVP odds go from 200-1 to 60-1 as fans couldn’t stop taking him.

To think that Trey Lance’s MVP bets had been placed more than the likes of Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes is pretty crazy. But perhaps some sharps are thinking that pairing Lance’s dual-threat nature with Kyle Shanahan’s offensive genius could result in some ridiculous results.

Still, the Niners are saddled with a QB room involving Lance and veteran Jimmy Garoppolo. But by all accounts, the Niners are preparing on handing the reigns over to lance.

Currently, Trey Lance has MVP odds of +5000 according to Draftkings. That would be behind just Deshaun Watson, Derek Carr, Kyler Murray, Jalen Hurts, Lamar Jackson, Dan Prescott, Russell Wilson, Matthew Stafford, Joe Burrow, Justin Herbert, Aaron Rodgers, Patrick Mahomes, Tom Brady and Josh Allen.

Obviously Trey Lance is still considered a long shot to win MVP, but with the way bettors are slamming the QB ahead of the season, perhaps that number is going to get even lower.
