Perhaps we’re finally getting closer to the story centered around Tom Brady and his recent hiatus from Tampa Bay Buccaneers Training Camp.

According to Page Six, the Buccaneers quarterback has been dealing with some issues with longtime wife, Gisele Bundchen, and has been getting ‘sad’ about the recent turn of events.

“A source told us of Brady, ‘He’s very sad at the moment. Friends know they’ve had a serious disagreement this time,” Emily Smith wrote. “It seems that Gisele gets mad and says things like she’s leaving him, but in the past, they’ve always made up. But maybe this time it is more serious.

When returning to Buccaneers practice, Tom Brady kept it short when explaining why he was away from he team.

“It’s all personal,” Brady said. “You know everyone’s got different situations they’re dealing with. So, we all have really unique challenges to our life. I’m 45 years old, man. There’s a lot of s— going on. You’ve just got to try to figure out life the best you can. It’s a continuous process.”

Regardless of the time away, Tom Brady is confident he’ll be ready to go when the season begins next week.

“I’ve played a lot of football in my day — a lot of practices, a lot of games, and a lot of seasons,” Brady said. “I’m ready to go.”

After a brief stint with retirement, Brady made his return to the Bucs with one year remaining on his contract. At that time, Gisele showed her support with the decision.

“Here we go again! Let’s go lovvvey! Let’s go Bucs!” Bundchen wrote in the comments of Brady’s Instagram post explaining his decision to come out of retirement.
