Get  your popcorn ready.

Former NFL superstar Terrell Owens is ready to return to the gridiron.  Unfortunately we won’t get a chance to see the 48 year old play in the NFL, but hey, we’ll take what we can  get. Owens is set to play in the Fan Controlled Football League.

That’s the league Johnny Manziel plays in.

Reuters is now reporting that T.O. will most likely join the Zappers. Johnny Manziel might just have a favorite new target.

“The source said Owens will be mic’d up and wearing a helmet camera for games. He will also provide content for streaming provider fuboTV by interviewing team owners and players during games when he is not playing.”

Fan Controlled Football is a a 7-on-7 indoor game. Pretty much Arena football.

Terrell will definitely help get some more eyeballs on the budding league.
