Former Bears Running Back Tarik Cohen Appears To Suffer Setback Following Heartbreaking Letter

Former Chicago Bears phenom running back Tarik Cohen has not has an easy go since breaking into the NFL.

Earlier in the month, Cohen took to The Players Tribune to pen an incredibly heartbreaking letter about his tough family obstacles, along with his grueling rehab from an ACL and MCL injury suffered during the 2020 season.

Now, Tarik Cohen finds himself a free agent looking for another opportunity. But it appears as though he’s hit yet another roadblock.

During a workout, it was reported that Cohen suffered another injury.

“Here’s hoping it’s not too serious,” Jacob Infante of Draft Wire said. “He’s been through so much, and another major injury would just be devastating.”

Immediately, fans are members of the media were sending thoughts and prayers to Tarik Cohen.

Tarik Cohen appeared to be an exciting member of an up-and-coming Bears team during the 2018 season, but he could have never prepared himself for the long road that was coming after that successful season.

The last injury appears to be an achilles tear based on the video floating around the web, but we’ll continue to track for any and all updates.

Regardless, we’re sending thoughts to Tarik Cohen. He’s going to have so many people rooting for his comeback story.
