Steelers’ Najee Harris’ Offseason Includes Stint in Wrestling Ring

It’s the offseason so why not have a little fun.

Steelers running back met professional wrestler Britt Baker, a Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, native and Steelers fan, at the practice facility earlier in the week, and somehow she convinced him to make an appearance at an AEW event.

“I was upstairs talking to a couple coaches about some guys in the draft, and then I ran into her,” Harris told ESPN on Thursday. “We were talking, and I was like, ‘When do y’all have a match?’ She said ‘tomorrow,’ and I was like, shoot, let me pull up. And then I went.”

Watch his Najee’s entrance below:

Harris walked out behind Baker holding a giant Terrible Towel flag.

“We were just thinking up stuff on the fly after that,” said Harris, who added he watched wrestling with his friends growing up. “I was like, ‘Shoot, let me grab this flag right here, then. Let me walk out, and I’ll walk behind you like you’re the champion.’”

Harris finishes his rookie season with 10-touchdown and 1,200-yards. A pretty solid start to a career.

And now he has a wrestling appearance under his belt.

Good stuff.
