NFL week 1 didn’t disappoint.

The Kansas City Chiefs left the desert feeling very good about almost every facet of the team’s game in a 44-21 blowout win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1. Many analysts figured the Chiefs offense would ultimately suffer without Tyreek Hill, and that was proven to be untrue pretty quickly in the contest. The only controversy during the game arrived when Broadcaster Tony Romo had some things to say about Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid. The former Dallas Cowboys QB-turned-broadcaster is being called out for fat shaming the Chiefs head honcho.

“Woah baby lets go get a snack.”

Watch Tony fat shame Reid below:

The comment seemed pretty playful, given that Andy Reid’s reputation is a guy who loves to eat. Even Andy Reid himself probably would have gotten a kick out of it. Twitter clearly didn’t feel the same way, as [eople were quick to call out Romo for “fat-shaming” Reid.

Check out some social media reactions below:

If you’re expecting Tony Romo to get “canceled” for this, I probably wouldn’t hold your breath.  There also won’t be any apologies issued.  This is just what people on Twitter love to do.

Speaking of the Kansas City Chiefs, they were looking pretty good straight out of the gate. Patrick Mahomes  completed 30 of 39 passes for 360 yards and 5 touchdowns with zero interceptions. A nice start to the season.

The Kansas City Chiefs will visit the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday night in a battle of two undefeated AFC West teams.
