Russell Wilson is already putting in the work with Broncos receiver Cortland Sutton after the blockbuster trade to Denver last week.

On Tuesday, Wilson posted a video of him throwing an absolute dime to Sutton, who was streaking down the sideline in a practice session.

Check out the connection below:

Cortland Sutton revealed right after the trade that Russell Wilson wasted no time setting up a group chat with offensive players to get acquainted.

“As soon as I landed my phone my phone was going off and it was Jerry [Jeudy], Tim [Patrick], KJ Hamler, and Russ [Wilson], and everyone was just in there talking,” Sutton said via SI. “You know it was really cool to be able to hear, first moments, just him talking about already like, ‘Hey man I’m trying to get to work, I’m trying to do this.’ To hear that already, so early into this process and our first time being able to talk to him, it sets the tempo for our entire team. Everybody understands the time that everybody is on and where we are trying to get to… it’s exciting for sure.”

Russell Wilson is clearly champing at the bit to get it going in Denver. And by the looks of it, him and Cortland Sutton are about to develop into a top QB-WR duo in the NFL.
