Now that Tom Brady is back in the saddle, most assume Rob Gronkowski will once again suit up.

Gronk has played two seasons with Tom in Tampa. So one must assume he’ll be back. Gronk is currently a a free agent and according to him, he hasn’t made up his mind on his NFL future.

Gronk sat down with TMZ Sports to talk about his plans for this coming season. While he won’t say he’s not playing, it does sound like he may hang it up.

“Right now, I’m not ready to get back out on that field. I’m not ready to commit to the game of football right now.”

At recent charity event Gronk said he purposely avoided catching passes and would only throw them. You know once Gronk starts something, he can’t stop.

“I knew if I started catching some passes that my head would have started turning, like, ‘Oh, crap, I got to get back out on the field.'”

Knowing Gronk, he’s keeping his options open, and if he thinks this is really Tom’s last season, maybe he’ll want to ride off into the sunset with his favorite QB?

Always hard to know what’s going on in Gronk’s head at any given moment.
