Could we see Rob Gronkowski come out of retirement at some point this season?

After his retirement announcement, Gronk’s agent came out and stated his belief that if Tom Brady came calling during next season, the start tight end would probably pick up the phone.

However, Rob Gronkowski tried putting those talks to bed when speaking to a reporter this week.

Today, a video of Gronkowski claiming there’s no chance he’s coming out of retirement went viral all over the web.

Check it out:

Tom Brady has joked about trying to get Rob Gronkowski to un-retire in the past, but it appears the tight end is pretty content with his decision.

After all, Gronkowski will likely get a media deal (or anything else) given his boisterous personality, and still make a whole lot of money in retirement.

Rob Gronkowski has nothing left to prove in the NFL, and it appears as though we truly have seen the last of him lacing em’ up on Sundays.
