Rob Gronkowski may not be returning to Tom Brady and the Buccaneers, after all.

During his birthday last week, Brady lobbied for his friend to return, while also taking to social media to wish the veteran tight end a happy birthday.

“Getting bored yet?” Brady wondered in part of his post.

Now, Rob Gronkowski’s IG comment to Leonard Fournette has many believing he won’t be returning, after all.

It all started when the Bucs running back took to social media to ask how many fans would be rocking his jersey in the stands next year.

Then, Gronkowski popped up in the comments section.

Recently, Rob Gronkowski’s girlfriend Camille Kostek revealed that she was ready to settle down and marry the longtime tight end.

“If he were to get down on one knee, I’d be excited,” Kostek told US Weekly. “He’s my best friend. I would spend the rest of my life with him.”

Perhaps Rob Gronkowski really is preparing to enter the next stage of his life after football. We’ll hopefully be finding out soon.
