Running back Chris Carson may be sidelined for this coming season.

Carson is still under contract with the Seahawks for the 2022 season, but no one can say when he’ll be back on the field.

Carson suffered a neck injury in Week Four last season and missed the rest of the year after having surgery.  Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll addressed Carson’s injury and didn’t have much info on his return.

Via Seattle Times:

“We really don’t have any real updates at this time,” Carroll said, via Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times. “It’s still gonna take some time still working through it. He’s really working hard, I know that, and it’s really important to take it as far as you can. So we’ll just have to wait. Take some time to figure that out.”

Rashaad Penny would be the guy if Carson fails to come back this season.

Neck injuries are brutal for athletes, and it’s just one of those injuries that’s tricky to bounce back from.  Carson is a stud when healthy so hopefully he’ll be back on the field at some point this coming season.
