The Kansas City Chiefs are back playing football, which means Patrick Mahomes is undoubtedly doing things that make our jaws drop on a daily basis. And sure enough, he was up to one of his ridiculous tricks today.

After Training Camp on Tuesday, Mahomes was seen trying to hit the bottom of the cross bar from about 30 yards out.

He was repeatedly nailing his target, even throwing left-handed. And in one of his throws, Mahomes went left handed and behind the back.

Of course, he was still able to nail the crossbar.

Yeah, Patrick Mahomes is still insane, and that should make Chiefs fans very, very happy.

While Kansas City still has their perennial MVP candidate in Mahomes, they’ll take on a different look this season.

Unfortunately for the Chiefs, they were forced to part ways with star receiver Tyreek Hill after they were unable to meet his monetary demands due to some salary cap constraints. But still, Mahomes feels confident about the weapons he has at his disposal.

“The biggest thing you see actually from throwing to all these guys really is we have a lot of size in that receiving room that we haven’t necessarily had in the past,” Mahomes said to ESPN earlier in the offseason. “We’ve done it different ways with speed and beating guys deep. … Having that size, I think, will be different. I’m excited for it, and I think it will be something that will be useful for us during the season.

“Having this good of a receiving room [with] everybody that can go out there and make plays, it will be great competition and help us in the long run.”

After losing Tyreek Hill in the offseason, the Chiefs picked up Marquez Valdes-Scantling and JuJu Smith-Schuster to help fill the void.

Even though the Chiefs lost some key pieces, they still have Patrick Mahomes, which should give them as good of a chance as anybody to make a deep postseason run once again.
