Packers Receiver Allen Lazard has Some Interesting Futures Lines Following Davante Adams’ Departure

By all indications, it appears as though Allen Lazard will be Aaron Rodgers’ #1 target in Green Bay this season.

Throughout Training Camp, Rodgers has been building even more chemistry with Lazard, and it appears as though he’s answered the bell.

During camp, several videos and reports from Packer practice indicate that Allen Lazard has been standing out among the receiving core.

Today, BetMGM released some futures odds on Allen Lazard amid his Training Camp success.

Last week, Aaron Rodgers poked fun at Davante Adams calling Derek Carr a Hall of Famer when hyping up Allen Lazard.

“It’s always tough going from Hall of Famer to Hall of Famer,” Rodgers joked Wednesday.

Rodgers would then get serious when talking about Lazard’s progression.

“He’s capable of a lot,” Rodgers said. “And the way things have gone with the reps and the guys that we’ve had here and the targets that we’ve doled out, he hasn’t had a ton of opportunities. Since his first day here, he’s turned heads, so it’s not surprising for him to go out and have a really consistent day today. But he’s been working hard. He has a lot to prove, to himself, to other people, to the team as well. I like a hungry Allen Lazard. It will be an adjustment for us, but I’m happy with Day 1.”

With Aaron Rodgers as his QB, anything is possible for Allen Lazard this season.
