Say what now?
You read that correctly, the Green Bay Packers and their NFC North Rivals, the Chicago Bears, are viewed as equals, at least from a betting perspective. Bettors are keeping plenty busy before the NFL season starts, and Team props have become ultra popular. Everyone loves to bet on winners, and as we’ve written about in the past, some also love to bet on losers. While some fans have wagered large amounts of money on the Chicago Bears to finish dead last, other bettors are liking the Chicago Bears chances to win a bunch of games. The eye opening part of this betting trend is the fact that the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears have received the same amount of bets to finish with the NFL’s best record.
Keep in mind the Packers record last season was 13-4, which was tied with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the NFL’s best record.

The Packers have gotten the same number of bets to finish with the NFL's best record as… the Bears?!?!
Also, a few non-Rodgers Packers have gotten strong action in player futures markets at @CaesarsSports.

Literally only one bettor has wagered money on the Green Bay Packers to finish with the best record, which is pretty telling.
“Even with having the third-lowest odds to pull it off at +350, only one bettor has placed a wager on it—an Indiana bettor has $10 on Packers +350 for best NFL record.
There are 21 different teams who have received multiple bets to finish atop the NFL standings, whereas the Bears have matched the Packers with one bet to do so.”
The Packers Over/Under win total currently sits at 11 games.
The Packers originally were tied for the highest win total on the board at 11.5 along with the Bills and Buccaneers. That number, however, has ticked down to 11 with each side priced at -110. The under has the edge with 52.3% of the tickets and 53.1% of the handle. This has been one of the tightest-bet win totals, as Green Bay is one of two teams (Broncos) where the percentage in both categories is under 55.0%.
Rodgers and the Packers have won 13 games in three straight seasons, but apparently losing Davante Adams has scared off some bettors.
The odds on this type of bet also factor in, where some bettors like to take flyers on longshots, the Packers sitting at +350 isn’t all that enticing.
Crazy that the Bears and Packers are on equal footing with at least one thing. We know how Aaron Rodgers Owns them.
