Odell Beckham Jr. Reportedly Looking for Return to the Browns

A disappointment and distraction before being released by the Browns, Beckham cleared NFL waivers without being claimed Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2021, and can now sign as a free agent with any team. Is Odell Beckham heading back to Cleveland?

Free agent Odell Beckham Jr. is still looking for a landing spot after suffering a torn ACL in the Super Bowl, but he’s clearly going to take his time to pick his next team. According to new reports, the Rams are still interested in signing him as well as some other teams who are keeping an eye on him.

Now it appears Beckham Jr. is open to returning to Cleveland.

It appears now that Baker Mayfield is gone, OBJ wouldn’t mind a return to Cleveland.

Via Cleveland.com:

“A source told cleveland.com that Beckham is open to the possibility because he loved his teammates and Browns fans, and only left when things reached the point of no return with Baker Mayfield.

But now that Mayfield is on his way out and three-time Pro Bowler Deshaun Watson is here, Beckham, 29, wouldn’t rule out coming back if the Browns were interested.”

If Odell really decided to return to Cleveland it would be the ulimate FU to Baker Mayfield.

With Watson under center, once again Cleveland is becoming a hot free agent destination. Wouldn’t count on this happening but it would be wild, and the NFL offseason has been chock full of wild moves.
