Oddsmakers Reveal Which NFL Team Is Most Likely To Go Winless

An NFL ref was caught on a hot mic during the season opener seemingly making up a call on taunting, which was a point of emphasis in the offseason

Their return couldn't have come soon enough for many players, coaches and fans. After two days of marathon negotiations _ and mounting frustration throughout the league _ the NFL and the officials' union announced at midnight Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, that a tentative eight-year agreement had been reached to end a lockout that began in June. Will we see our first 0-17 football season during this upcoming NFL season?

This week, oddsmakers released the odds on which team is most likely to finish the NFL season without a win, and the teams might not be wholly surprising.

According to The Action Network, the three teams most likely to finish the 2022-23 season without a win are the Texans, followed by the Falcons and Jets.

Of course, the massively high odds would lead many to believe that no team will be all too close to finishing without a win.

Even with the Texans in full rebuild mode, they showed some signs of improvement under rookie quarterback Davis Mills last season, and should definitely be able to steal at least a win or two from a lowly opponent next season.

The day will come that we’ll see an NFL team finish 0-17, but it’s highly unlikely that day will come following next season.

Ya never know, though.
