Are you one of those bettors?

You know the one person who loves to bet on miserable starts, and absolutely loves when a team loses. Well, if that’s the case, this story is for you. While most bettors enjoy placing wagers on which teams will start out hot, and try to ride them the through the rest of the season, others like to do the exact opposite, and bet on the losers right out of the gate. Each and every NFL season there are teams who struggle mightily to get their first Win. If you’re so inclined, you can bet on which teams will start out 0-4.

As of now the Houston Texans have the leading NFL betting odds to start the year 0-4 at +150, followed by the Jaguars and Falcons. Nine teams have odds of +500 or better to begin with four straight losses.

You can see the odds below:

The Texans have a pretty difficult schedule to start out the season, they face the Indianapolis Colts, Broncos and Los Angeles Chargers, who are all favored to make the playoffs.

You can see  some predictions on their schedule below:

Jacksonville also has a rough start to the season, they begin the year against three of four teams who are favored to make the playoffs in the Colts, Chargers and Eagles. The Jaguars also play three of their first four games on the road.

And finally you have the Falcons as the other favorite to go 0-4. The Falcons don’t have such a tough schedule like the Jags and Texans, but they are currently going through a rebuild, which is never easy. Matt Ryan, the face of the franchise for the last decade, has also taken his talents to another team.

Well there you have  it, some teams you may want  to bet on to start out winless. Not my kind of bet, but when it comes to gambling on sports, I always say: To Each his Own.
