Is Mac Jones struggles changing the betting landscape for the Pats?
Mac Jones is expected to take another step forward after an impressive rookie season in which he posted the second-highest completion percentage (67.6 percent) and the sixth-highest passer rating (92.5) for a rookie quarterback with at least 300 attempts in NFL history. But so far reports aren’t looking too good at Pats training camp. The New England Patriots have yet to play a single preseason game and there is already a sentiment that Mac has fallen off the cliff. Mac spoke about his training camp struggles.
“I’m going to figure it out. I always have. I always will. At the end of the day, you’re going to have your ups and downs with anything new. … When there’s 10 people that look into my eyes, I know they’re going to trust me to do the right thing on game day.”

From a betting perspective, what are some bets you need to look out for? For one the over under on the Patriots wins is 8.5.
Patriots over 8.5 wins (-120) via Caesars Sportsbook:
Will the #Patriots surpass their @CaesarsSports over/under win total of 8.5 games?
With a new OC and additions such as Tyquan Thornton and DeVante Parker, they may push for another playoff berth.

There’s also props for Mac Jones, who is clearly the new face of the franchise:
If you think Mac will win the MVP, you’re going to get odds ranging from +4000 to +6000 depending on the book.
Mac’s over/under below:
Mac’s over under on Touchdown passes is 23.5, while his total yards are sitting at 3950.5.
Mac Jones will be playing without Josh McDaniels, who was his offensive coordinator in his rookie year.
That kind of a transition isn’t easy for most veterans, let alone a QB playing in his second year. Not sure this is the guy to take the over on, especially if you watched the Pats offense last year…
