Free agent running back Tarik Cohen just can’t catch a break.

Recently, the former Chicago Bear opened up about his past struggled with the loss of his two brothers, along with a long road to recovery following an ACL injury suffered during the 2020 season.

On Tuesday, Tarik Cohen’s luck went from back to worse when it was noticed during an IG live workout session that he had suffered some sort of injury.

Now, NFL insider Adam Schefter has an unfortunate update regarding Tarik Cohen’s injury.

“An MRI today confirmed that RB Tarik Cohen, who hasn’t played in the NFL since he tore his ACL in Week 3 of the 2020 season, ruptured his Achilles while live streaming a training session on Instagram Live, per source,” Schefter reported.

Fans were devastated with the news.

Tarik Cohen had revealed in his recent letter that he had gotten his “burst” back. But now he’ll likely have to go through another long recovery.

Here’s hoping that this one goes much smoother than his ACL recovery. But obviously with the way his injuries are trending, none of this is good news.

We’ll hope to see Tarik Cohen back in the NFL very soon.
