As both the New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers offenses have stalled all day long, the tempers have finally boiled over.

When Tom Brady went to yell at a referee about a non-call on what the QB thought was a clear pass interference against his receiver, Scottie Miller, Marshon Lattimore got into Brady’s face, and several members of the Buccaneers came over to the aid of their quarterback.

However, nobody reacted with the same vengeance as Mike Evans, who ran over from the sidelines and decked Lattimore to the turf.

After the whole brawl, both Evans and Lattimore were ejected from the game.

It’s no real surprise that Evans was the most adamant about backing up Brady.

They’ve built one of the best QB-reciver combos in the league for the past three years since Brady arrived on the scene in Tampa, and continue to see eye-to-eye on and off the field.

“He’s a great target,” Brady said after Evans scored a touchdown last week. “He’s 6’5”, he jumps, he’s got great ball skills, he’s got great hands, he’s got great vision, tracks it well. He does everything pretty well. Anytime I’m throwing to Mike usually good things are happening.

“When you get in the red area, if Mike’s available he usually gets it.”

After the brawl, Brady finally connected for his first touchdown of the day when hitting receiver Breshad Perriman down the seam to take a 10-3 lead in the fourth quarter.

Yeah, it probably wasn’t a good idea for Lattimore and the Saints to rile up the GOAT any more than he already was.
