Matt LaFleur Speaks On Aaron Rodgers’ Absence From OTA’s

Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur is already lobbying with quarterback Aaron Rodgers to stay with the team for another season following their playoff loss

Do the Packers have more Aaron Rodgers drama on their hands?

Despite signing a large extension in the offseason, Rodgers admitted that he wasn’t expecting to be without star receiver Davante Adams this season. And now, he’s a no-show from the team’s OTA’s this week.

However, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur insisted that it’s nothing to worry about.

Earlier in the offseason, Aaron Rodgers made it known during one of his appearances on the Pat McAfee Show that he was planning on skipping OTAs, but would be at mini-camp starting at the beginning of next month.

So far, the QB hasn’t publicly taken issue with the trade of Davante Adams or any of the interesting draft selection the Packers made in the offseason.

Sometimes, a veteran like Aaron Rodgers just doesn’t need that much time to ramp it up prior to next season. I’m sure we’ll be seeing him re-join the team shortly.
