LeBron James is coming through the woodworks to back up journeyman QB Teddy Bridgewater on his latest controversial comments.

Earlier in the week, Teddy went viral after saying NFL players should stop with the ‘gangsta’ charade.

“Tired of seeing football players portray this tough guy image or pretend he’s gangsta,” Bridgewater said. “You went to school, attended those classes, and some even got their college degree. Now you might have 1.5% of professional football players that’s on that but the remaining 98.5% are only ‘football tough.’

“So, don’t wait till you inherit this legal money from the league to decide you want to be tough or portray a ‘street image’ cause it’s kids that’s looking up to everything we do. Plus it’s someone sitting in a cell or posted in the hood who might’ve been just as hood as you that would advise you otherwise.”

Today, LeBron James took to Twitter to back up Teddy Bridgewater on his sentiment.

“T. Bridgewater! All FACTS,” James tweeted.

Teddy Bridgewater is currently signed on as a backup QB with the Miami Dolphins after things didn’t work out with the Denver Broncos. But during every stop of his career, Bridgewater has been credited as a good leader who works his tail off.

Similarly, LeBron James takes pride in how he’s viewed away from the basketball court, often proving he’s a good role model for the younger generation.

Sure, we can’t expect every athlete to be a role model. But you also can’t knock guys like Teddy Bridgewater and LeBron James for sharing their take on the topic.
