Kevin Stefanski Admitted He Wasn’t Watching Deshaun Watson’s Accusers’ Interviews

When the Cleveland Browns traded for and extended Deshaun Watson, head coach Kevin Stefanski and the rest of the team’s brass made it clear they did their homework on the 20+ accusations of sexual assault out against the QB.

However, it appears as though they’re done listening to the accusers.

This week, two of  the massage therapists who accused Watson of sexual assault appeared in interviews on HBO. But when speaking to media this week, Stefanski admitted that he had not yet watched any of it.

“I read about it. I would tell you we did a lot of work on that. As we’ve talked about, we’ve done a lot of work on Deshaun the person,” Stefanski said, per Ben Axelrod.

During an appearance on HBO’s Real Sports, one of the accusers described what Deshaun Watson told her after the alleged sexual assault took place.

“I know you have a career to protect.” And “I know you don’t want anyone messing with it just like I don’t want anyone messing with mine.” To me, that’s when that’s when I got really scared,” Ashley Solis said.

Deshaun Watson has been deemed free by the legal system. But the NFL is still undergoing their own, separate investigation that will decide whether or not Kevin Stefanski’s QB1 gets slapped with a suspension or not.
