Judge Reportedly Has Mind Made Up On Deshaun Watson Suspension

Perhaps the Deshaun Watson suspension decision is finally coming to an end.

Today, a report from Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk claims that judge Sue L. Robinson will rule for the Browns QB to be suspended somewhere in the range of 2-8 games next season.

The PFT post would go on to mention that it’s still a possibility that the NFL would impose a higher suspension on Deshaun Watson.

“Whether the league would appeal such an outcome, and whether Commissioner Roger Goodell or his designee would impose a dramatically longer ban, remains to be seen.” PFT’s Mike Florio writes.

Earlier in the week, Yahoo Sports reported that Watson would likely be taking the NFL to court if he were to be handed down a full-year suspension.

We haven’t seen Deshaun Watson suit up on Sundays since the 2020 season. And by the sounds of it, we won’t be seeing him until way later this season, either.
