Josh Allen is not going to back down.

The Buffalo Bills superstar QB was visibly angry during the Buffalo Bills loss to the Miami Dolphins this past weekend. Part of that was most likely due to an underwhelming lack of production offensively that led to a tough Bills two-point loss. There was that Christian Wilkins moment too, that seemed to irritate Allen. Wilkins was giving out some potentially illegal hits to the Bills all game long and eventually Josh Allen grew so annoyed he ripped Wilkins’ helmet off his head, leading to a personal foul penalty.

Allen is one to play with a chip on his shoulder but this behavior was a little out of character. He loves talking trash but he rarely gets physical with opponents after the whistle. Allen joined NFL Networks Kyle Brandt for his weekly spot on Kyle Brandt’s Basement and explained he lost his temper while appearing to confirming to Brandt that Wilkins grabbed his groin while they were in the pile.

Watch Allen explain below:

I mean that’s not the kind of reputation that you want to have, but hey, it appeared to work as Allen reacted to the groin grab. It’s a questionable tactic but that’s the NFL for you. The personal foul flag Wilkins drew for getting his helmet ripped off set the Bills back 15 yards on a rather important offensive possession.

The Bills and Dolphins will meet again in December, definitely will be a game worth watching.
