Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson could be in even more trouble than we originally thought.

After a long investigation into sexual harassment allegations, a judge ruled that Watson was to be suspended for the first six games of the upcoming season. But the NFL was quick to put in an appeal.

Originally, it was reported that league was seeking out a 12 game suspension for the star QB, but perhaps a bigger penalty is in order.

According to NFL insider Dov Kleiman, it’s pretty much a lock that Deshaun Watson will be suspended for the entire upcoming season.

“A source tells PFN that a full-year suspension for #BrownsQB Deshaun Watson is a “slam dunk.” We’re currently waiting to hear the decision by former New Jersey Attorney General Peter C. Harvey,” Kleiman tweeted out on Sunday morning.

It had been previously reported that the Browns and Deshaun Watson were willing to accept up to an eight game suspension without any push back. But perhaps they received some bad intel.

Prior to the team’s preseason game this weekend, Watson finally issued a long apology, and admitted a certain amount of negligence.

“I want to say that I’m truly sorry to all of the women that I have impacted in this situation,” Watson said during an in-house interview on the Browns’ pregame show that aired on Cleveland News 5.

Deshaun Watson had previously said he had “no regrets” about anything that happened during a massage session, but that sentiment changed drastically this week.

“The decisions that I made in my life that put me in this position I would definitely like to have back,” he said on the Browns’ pregame show, “but I want to continue to move forward and grow and learn and show that I am a true person of character and I am going to keep pushing forward.”
