While Deshaun Watson may have thought he’s out of the woods from a legal standpoint, that doesn’t appear to be the case.

On Tuesday, it was reported that another masseuse was opening up a lawsuit against Watson for alleged sexual harassment during their session.

Later that night, Deshaun Watson released a statement through his attorney, Rusty Hardin.

“Deshaun Watson vehemently denies the allegations, just as he has since she first discussed them with members of our firm in March of last year,” the statement reads. “She repeated the allegations on social media in August and he denied them then. The only thing new about her contentions is the embellishment making them more extreme than prior versions. Deshaun’s denial remains the same.”

“This plaintiff has long had a vendetta against Deshaun since she jealously and angrily published Deshaun’s personal data on social media in November 2020,” the statement continues. “In filing her lawsuit now she was obviously not influenced by recent developments.”

According to the new suit, the masseuse changed her mind on pressing charges after hearing the brave accounts of two other women during an “HBO Real Sports piece.”

During that interview (which aired last week) one alleged victim described her feelings after seeing Deshaun Watson receive a mega-contract from the Browns.

“It’s just like a big ‘screw you,’” Ashley Solis told HBO.

Even after the Browns made their decision to hitch their wagon to Deshaun Watson, it still feels like the whole off-the-field situation is far from over.
