San Francisco 49ers receiver Deebo Samuel is currently looking to be paid as one of the best players in the entire NFL. And for now, it appears as though he’s holding out for a higher number from the team.

As Samuel engages in negotiations with the Niners, he revealed that fans are starting to get restless. So much so, that he’s actually been receiving some death threats throughout the entire process.

After Deebo Samuel scrubbed all things 49ers from his social media accounts, it was revealed that his asking price for a potential extension remains astronomical.

“If it ain’t 25M a year we don’t want it!!,” Samuel’s agent posted on Instagram.

Last season, Deebo Samuel asserted himself as one of the top playmakers in the entire NFL. He caught 77 passes for 1, 405 yards and six touchdowns. He also added 365 yards and eight touchdowns on the ground.

By the sounds of it, the 49ers are going to have to break the bank to keep Deebo in San Francisco.
