Is Aaron Rodgers the GOAT of the NFL?

Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers has received the highest of compliments from his former teammate. Even after reuniting with his old college buddy Derek Carr in Las Vegas, the new Las Raiders wide receiver told the “Pivot” podcast this week that Aaron Rodgers remains the NFL’s best Quarterback, and that his “Michael Jordan effect” fueled Green Bay.

“He’s the best quarterback, in my opinion, to play this game,” Adams said of his former teammate. “He had the Michael Jordan effect. … (He’s) gonna make you play better … just by being on the field.”

Watch Davante Adams explain how Aaron Rodgers possesses the Michael Jordan effect below:

Adams continued showering Rodgers with praise by recalling practices where the star Packers QB was absent:

“You would just notice people start to (slip). … It wasn’t the same when Aaron was out there.”

Adams also did throw some love his new QB’s way, h  told the “Pivot” crew that Derek Carr, his new QB, is “extremely” underrated,  and he made it crystal clear he wants to eclipse the best of his Packers days in Las Vegas.

“I ain’t come here just to be cute and hang out with Derek,” Adams said. “I wanna get that trophy at the end of the year.”

Derek Carr is a solid QB, but we know he’s no Aaron Rodgers. I’m expecting Davante’s numbers to take a bit of a dip, but expectations are he still should have a huge season.
