Dallas Cowboys Under Fire for Marketing ‘Black Rifle Coffee’ That Sells AK-47 Espresso Blend

Despite earlier reports, Jerry Jones refused to commit to Mike McCarthy when speaking on his coaching staff following the loss last weekend

Some people just don’t get it.

The Dallas Cowboys certainly did not think long and hard about this one. This week the team’s Twitter account announced they were giving away tickets to a game as well as a 1-year subscription to Black Rifle Coffee. Black Rifle Coffee is all about coffee and guns, much like the name suggests.

See their tweet below:

“Cowboys are marketing Black Rifle Coffee, a brand whose products include AK-47 Espresso Blend, Silencer Smooth Roast and Murdered Out Coffee Roast, as “America’s Coffee.”

Following the announcement, there was a huge backlash, especially considering there was another mass shooting only a day prior.

See the reactions below:

We know Texas loves their guns and coffee, but this is too much.

Sad that America’s team promotes this garbage, but pretty fitting…
