Conflicting Reports Surface in Seahawks Interest in Baker Mayfield

Are the Seattle Seahawks really interested in Baker Mayfield? Have they ever been??

Mayfield to Seattle isn’t really a thing that seems to be gaining any traction. But according to NFL insider Josina Anderson, hold your horses. But one NFL insider has conflicting information on Seattle’s interest.

This week NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said on “The Pat McAfee Show” that the Seahawks never showed much interest in trading for Mayfield. He called  it internet fodder.

“There are a couple of times a year where you get an internet rumor that takes on a life of its own. And believe me, I always check. But I’ve heard nothing to corroborate Baker to the Seahawks at all. It seems crazy to me, but they have never really been that interested in Baker.”

Josina Anderson called BS on the Seahawks never showing strong interest in Mayfield inaccurate. Anderson went on to list a few reasons why this report is now coming out.

These are the dogs days of  Summer. NFL fans want football  but  instead we get conflicting reports about Baker Mayfield.

Baker continues to wait for his chance to leave Cleveland but nothing seems imminent. This could go on for a while…
