It’s no surprise that former New York Jets linebacker Bart Scott had some comments digging into Tom Brady on ESPN today.

After all, it was Brady and the Patriots who gave Scott nightmares for years in the AFC East for all those years. But in the end, the linebacker revealed that he was much more scared to play against Peyton Manning than Tom Brady.

“I’d much rather go against Tom Brady every day of the week than go against Peyton Manning. I believe that’s how everybody feels. … Tom Brady was more about Bill Belichick, the entire team, the execution, them having a game plan,” he said.

Shortly thereafter, one of many videos of Tom Brady scorching Bart Scott while the linebacker was in coverage went viral.

While at one point there was a GOAT debate between Peyton Manning and Tom Brady, TB12 seems to have put that to rest with his longevity.

But, with Brady at seven rings and Bart Scott at zero, it makes sense that the ESPN analyst still holds a grudge against the consensus GOAT.

Somewhere, Tom Brady has to be laughing about the latest comment at his expense.
