Fan fights exploded in Week 1 of the NFL season.

New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons fans clearly are not fans of one another, as their fans bases were ready to swing it out in a nasty rivalry game to kick off the season.  Veteran quarterbacks Matt Ryan and Drew Brees are no longer in the picture, but the intensity  between the two NFL franchises still remains. The New Orleans Saints had to fight back from a 16-7 halftime deficit as well as a 26-10 deficit early in the fourth quarter before Saints QB Jameis Winston and wide receiver Michael Thomas got busy. The Saints would leave Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta with a 27-26 victory.

As we’ve been seeing all weekend long,  the fight wasn’t over as fans of both teams would get into one of the more wild brawls we have ever seen in the concourse area.

Watch the Saints and Falcons fans fight below:

Things won’t get any easier for the Falcons or Saints in week two, as the Falcons visit the Los Angeles Rams, while the New Orleans Saints visit Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

There’s no doubt we will see more fan fights in week 2. I can’t remember an opening NFL weekend that featured this many fans fighting one another.

I mean who in their right mind wants to attend an NFL game with all the violence taking place away from the field.
