Aaron Rodgers’ Reaction To The Sammy Watkins Deal Revealed

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was the subject of many jokes and troll-jobs on the web after it was announced that he and Shailene Woodley broke

Green Bay coach Matt LaFleur confirmed Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021, that Rodgers was in the protocol, but would not say if Rodgers had tested positive nor if the reigning NFL MVP has been vaccinated. He might not be Davante Adams, but Aaron Rodgers has a new weapon in Green Bay.

It was reported on Thursday afternoon that the Packers had agreed on a deal to bring in veteran receiver Sammy Watkins to help fill their void at the position.

According to Aaron Rodgers’ buddy and talk show host Pat McAfee, the QB has already been in contact with the former star receiver, and he’s excited “to get to work”.

After Aaron Rodgers agreed to his monster extension with the Packers, it left the team little wiggle room on their salary cap.

Sammy Watkins may not be a slam-dunk signing at this stage of his career, but it’ll be nice for Rodgers to have a veteran he can trust on the offensive unit, nonetheless.

Last season, Watkins played in 13 games for the Baltimore Ravens, hauling in just 27 catches for 394 yards and a touchdown. He’ll hope to have better production with Aaron Rodgers as his quarterback this season.
