Aaron Rodgers Answers If He’ll Still be Playing at 45 Years Old

Yahoo daily fantasy football advice for Monday Night Football: Lions vs. Packers. FREE Live expert Yahoo NFL DFS advice for MNF on 9/20

In Episode 6 of Resimulating NFL History, James Starks was a key cog in the Green Bay Packers' Super Bowl win over the New England Patriots.

Aaron Rodgers is on the back nine of his career.

Let’s just say he’s on the 17th hole. Rodgers turns 39 in December. He’s often mentioned playing until he’s 40 years old, and his new contract with the Packers gives him that opportunity, but he’s only committing to playing football year-by-year. The Green Bay Packers quarterback gave a quick answer to the question if he’ll be playing at 45 years old like Tom Brady.

“No,” Rodgers quickly responded, smiling. “No. But happy birthday, Tom!”

Rodgers will most definitely finish his career with the Packers, but it’s a solid bet that he won’t be throwing TD’s in Green Bay for the 2028 season.

But you never know with competitors like Rodgers.
